Oh, you'd be surprised - a fair amount of my scientific work is aimed in the general direction of archaeology, the unearthing of ancient civilizations and the like; one of those civilizations was based in the lost city of Ambrosia. There was a way to raise the city from where it had been lost to the sea many years before - it required very specific songs to be deciphered and played.

It isn't terribly common, but it comes up once in a while.
